A Canal In Brussels 12x16 SOLD

This was from a photo taken by the wife of an old friend of mine. He sent it to me.I went thru a lot of changes on this one trying to make it work. Main problem was getting the fade out of the right side bldgs correct to show good distance by showing less detail and blending into the background trees somewhat. It  pushes the last bldg back into the trees or gives that impression of additional depth I believe. Lots of water and a weird tree trunk made this one extra challenging in turning it into a nice painting. Could've left out the trunk but then it wouldn't be representative of that real view.
